This Sunday afternoon BLK Vinyl is hosting a benefit for SIMS Foundation featuring solo sets by Liz Burrito and Geannie Friedman (Semihelix) from 4-7 p.m.. KOOP DJs will also be on hand to spin records while visitors browse the bins at the independent record store tucked away on East 6th Street.

After a successful dry run with Go Fever last weekend at East Austin’s BLK Vinyl’s first outdoor show, the venue is hosting their second such event this Sunday, October 17. This time the in-store guest is Semihelix bandleader, Geannie Friedman who is playing a solo set to promote her debut full-length record release.
