Photo Gallery: Hot Summer Nights 2026 brought the heat to Austin’s Red River District
The annual sweat-fest, Hot Summer Nights returned to the Red River Cultural District last weekend, marking another successful year of cover-free showcases that benefit local businesses throughout downtown Austin. The RRCD neighborhood non-profit presents the free showcases to keep venues and other establishments busy during the summer slow period in both the service and music industries for employees and musicians until the things pick back up in the Fall.
With 100+ artists across 10+ venues That included Mohawk, Swan Dive, 13th Floor and more HSN 2026 proved a massive success, as thousands attended to welcome yet another year in the vibrant Austin scene. The Cosmic Clash team participated in both days of the festival. Our photo gallery serves to highlight what stood out to us during the annual weekend the extravaganza. Our photo team captured images of Mugger, Creeping Death, French Film, Bat Lips and more.

Despite the extreme summer temperatures, crowds of fans showed up in droves to experience the eclectic lineup of artists from across the spectrum of music being performed nightly in the Live Music Capital. Austin fans remain truly lucky to have these talented musicians performing for them. If you enjoyed Hot Summer Nights and perhaps a particular act, why not head over to their web store or Bandcamp page and grab some new music or merch to support them?
