Live music review: Wine Lips and Forty Feet Tall rocked 13th Floor

On Monday, May 6, Red River Cultural District venue, The 13th Floor was flooded with patrons stoked to check out Wine Lips on the heels of their latest full-length release, Super Mega Ultra. One month to the day after the LP release, the Canadian quartet put on a raucous, mosh-inducing performance with enough pull to prompt friends Forty Feet Tall to fly in from Portland for the pairing. Video Premiere: Good Field release Halloween themed clip

Austin indie rock / shoegaze four-piece Good Field released a new song and accompanying video, “Coyote” today. The song is part of a larger collection of tracks the Austin band has recorded over the years that will be compiled into a full-length record entitled Coyote. Jim Eno (Spoon) provided engineering and production on the record. Dan Duszynski (Loma, Cross Record) mastered the tracks which include this ode to living free that B Movie filmmaker, Zachary Scott transformed into a werewolf themed story just in time for Halloween.
