Video premiere: Austin synth duo Hamerzya released Ethereal Ones clip today

Hamerzya (pronounced hammer+z+eye+a) emerged in the Austin music scene in 2015, with Michael J. Pena as drummer and keyboardist and Lisa Marie Perkins on vocals. The self-produced band creates future synth, new wave melodies with brooding ballads, paying homage to the 1980s and Tron video games. Video Premiere: Good Field release Halloween themed clip

Austin indie rock / shoegaze four-piece Good Field released a new song and accompanying video, “Coyote” today. The song is part of a larger collection of tracks the Austin band has recorded over the years that will be compiled into a full-length record entitled Coyote. Jim Eno (Spoon) provided engineering and production on the record. Dan Duszynski (Loma, Cross Record) mastered the tracks which include this ode to living free that B Movie filmmaker, Zachary Scott transformed into a werewolf themed story just in time for Halloween.

In what now feels like ancient history, this past January, The Cuckoos put on a show at one of Austin’s most intimate venues, Cheer Up Charlie’s. On June 29, the band dropped a new single and video.
