Today LEVITATION dropped a doozy of a lineup and put tickets on sale for the festival which takes place October 27-30 in various downtown Austin venues featuring headlining sets from King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Osees and Jesus and Mary Chain. Cosmic Clash favorite, Osees (formerly Thee Ohsees) is playing all four nights of the festival, which is music to our ears.

Austin-based Grupo Fantasma returns to its origins for a show at the Paramount Theater on Friday, May 27 with Joe Bataan. Denver-based guitarist, Marcus Rezak returns to Austin this evening in support of his second EP, Truth in Sound at Empire Control Room and Garage with percussionist, Nikki Glaspie of Nth Power on drums, Chantil Dukart on keys and Tim Philpot on bass. EP features Russ Lawton, Ray Paczkowski, and the late Tony Markellis of Trey Anastasio Band and Kalyan Pathak on percussion and tabla. Rezak appears at Rancho Relaxo Saturday evening with his high-octane Grateful Dead cover band, Shred is Dead to celebrate Jerry Garcia’s birthday with the Rancho crew to complete the one-two, Austin punch.
