New Music: Darkbird Release New Single “Crimes”

Austin indie rockers “Darkbird” just released their new single “Crimes.” The song has a retro feel to it as if singer Kelly Barnes had been transported back to the mid 1980s to write a song. It also highlights Barnes’ strong vocal performance over a classic sounding new wave rock track. The band plans to drop this an successive singles, ending up with a new EP on the other end of those single releases.

Track Premiere – Augustus – “Stubborn Monument”

Boulder, Colorado’s Augustus are taking a modern twist to rock n roll’s sound by blending together soothing melodies, gravitating vocals and guitar twisting melodies to a traditional psych-rock sound. The four-piece started their work in 2013 releasing four EP’s and a full-length album “Second to None” in 2015. On the subject of  past releases, we are excited to announce Augustus’ new track “Stubborn Monument” off of their up coming EP, “Idle”.

Kay Odyssey set to hit the road on their second West Coast tour

One of Austin’s top musical talents, Kay Odyssey is embarking on their second West Coast tour. The Party Cups Tour kicks off this Friday (September 27) at Beerland for the Peyote Coyote Residency #4. The Party Cups tour continues with a stop in the mysterious West Texas town of Marfa at the Lost Horse Saloon. The tour then heads off to the furthest reaches of the beautiful west Texas desert to El Paso, then across the enchanted state of New Mexico stoping in Parse Seco and the Albuquerque. Kay Odyssey will rock out in Phoenix (Scotsdale) as the tour reaches the idyllic West Coast making tour stops in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
