Louisville natives White Reaper rocked Scoot Inn on Tuesday, stopping in Austin in support of January release, Asking for a Ride. The record is perhaps the band’s best. That’s say something as their previous release produced their most popular song thus far, “Might Be Right.”

The 41st Austin Music Awards are set to take place February 26 Mohawk honoring the best in Austin music over the past year. The lineup has been set with performances by Jackie Venson, Como Las Movies with Sabrina Ellis, Die Spitz and more. Tickets for the event are on sale now. hursday evening’s relatively balmy weather, a full slate of great music and a full-fledged PR and spnsorship push from the Red River Cultural District team translated to full rooms, elated fans and even happier local musicians.
