I’d showed up that night just to see Moving Panoramas but got there early so I decided to grab a seat up front and settle in, unsure who or what Semihelix even was. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised.

Christian Bland (The Black Angels) returns to Native Hostel Saturday, July 31 this time with a full band, the Revelators to headline the final Vancerts Sunset Saturdays until the series resumes September 4. Moving Panoramas and Semihelix round out a stellar psych-rock / shoe-gaze bill. Bland opened the series with a rare, solo set in April.
