Seattle’s Fleet Foxes debut received similar lazy comparisons to Crosby, Stills & Nash and Simon and Garfunkel reincarnate. While it’s great company, the band has routinely broken the mold in each album cycle, challenging themselves to push the outer edges of their competence and confidence. On Sunday, September 12 Glass Animals played Austin’s shiny, new Moody Amphitheatre at Waterloo Park. While it wasn’t the first performance The Cosmic Clash has covered at the venue (Gary Clark Jr opening weekend), it was the first time at the venue for this writer.
