Hidden Ritual and Petaphysics @ The 29th St. Ballroom – The Cosmic Clash
Ha! Hidden Ritual is definitely one of those bands that creep up on you and stay in your head long after the music stops. I first heard of Hidden Ritual off of the Lo-Fi Compilation 2. It was pretty awesome to learn that the are from Austin. Truly a small world. You can check a track I recorded using my crewed Lo-Fi methods.
Alright, next up I caught the crazy beer spitting band, Petaphysics. Don’t let the matching Hawaiian Burger shirts fool you. These guys can throw a pretty mean organ and whistle while front man entertains you with his Iggy style craziness!
