Johnny Degollado “El Montopolis Kid”
At the age of 19 Johnny Degollado aka “El Montopolis Kid” and his ensemble started touring Texas towns which consisted of seasonal migrant workers. Degollado’s career started in 1954 and continues to this day. His decades of playing has made him an Austin legend and a true Rockstar.
Johnny Degollado and his group will be playing at this years Cosmic Clash Daze event on March 13 at Hard Luck Lounge. Come celebrate, dance and experience the Austin legend “El Montopolis Kid’s” Tejano Cunjunto music.
